இந்தியன் படக்கதையில் முதலில் நடிக்கவிருந்தவர் சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினிதான். ஆனால் பின்னர் கமல் நடித்தார் என்று இயக்குநர் ஷங்கர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

இதுகுறித்து அவர் விகடன் மேடையில் வாசகர் கேள்வி ஒன்றுக்கு அளித்த பதிலில், "'இந்தியன்’ கதையை முதன்முதலில் ரஜினி சாருக்குத்தான் சொன்னேன் என்பது பலருக்குத் தெரியாது. கதை, திரைக்கதை, முழுமை அடையாத ஆரம்பக் கட்ட நிலையில் சொன்னதால் அதைச் செய்வதில் ரஜினி சாருக்குத் தயக்கம் இருந்தது. 'இந்தியன்’ படம் முடிந்து, அவருக்குப் போட்டுக் காட்டினேன். படம் முடிந்ததும் ஓடி வந்து என்னை இறுக்கிக் கட்டியணைத்து, 'சூப்பர்... சூப்பர்...’ எனத் தட்டிக்கொடுத்து, 'இப்படி எனக்கு நீங்க சொல்லவே இல்லியே’ என்று ஆச்சர்யப்பட்டார்.

நீங்கள் உற்றுப்பார்த்தீர்களானால் 'இந்தியன்’ தாத்தா, இன்டர்வெல் காட்சியில் உட்கார்ந்தபடியே ஈஸி சேர் பலகையால் நெடுமுடி வேணுவைத் தட்டிவிடுவார். வர்மக் கலையில் அவரை வீழ்த்திக் கீழே கிடக்கிற துண்டை எடுத்து ஸ்டைலாகத் தோளில் போடுவார். பிறகு, எழுந்து கலைந்த முடியை ஸ்டைலாகக் கோதி சரி செய்வார். இது ரஜினி சாரை மனதில்வைத்து நான் உருவாக்கிய காட்சி என்பது கமல் சாருக்குத் தெரியாது. அதை முற்றிலும் அவரது ஸ்டைலில் வேறுவிதமாகச் செய்து அசத்தி இருப்பார்.

Rajini wants a happy ending for Dhanush

Aishwarya Dhanush organized a special screening of 3 for her father, Rajinikanth. The superstar loved the film we hear and was full of praise for the performances. The sad climax however bothered him deeply and he has suggested that they give the film a positive ending.
Dhanush and Aishwarya were grateful for his feedback and are giving serious consideration to his constructive feedback. So will 3 have the happy ending Rajini wants or the original sad ending? We will just have to keep guessing till the film is released.

Jackie Shroff has been cast in Rajinikanth's new film Kochadaiyaan, directed by his daughter Soundarya R Ashwin. It will start shooting in March. In an interview, the actor told on his close friend Rajini, "I like his simplicity and I admire his stardom. The star of India, he is bigger than anyone in Hollywood. Besides me, my wife likes only him as an actor and admires him!"

Dubbing rights for Rajini film to go for record price?

Shooting is yet to start for Rajini starrer, Kochadaiyaan and already people are willing to pay a huge fortune for it. There is a huge demand for the dubbing rights in other languages especially Telugu and producers are engaged in a bidding war of sorts. One producer was willing to cough up 28 crores for the dubbing rights alone.
Soundarya Ashwin is considering the offers but has not made a decision about this yet. She is busy with arrangements for the film and is eager  to start her ambitious project. Deepike Padukone is the heroine and the rest of the cast includes, Sarath Kumar, Aadhi, Nasser, Shobana, and Rukmini.

கோச்சடையானின் நட்சத்திர பட்டாளம் கிட்ட தட்ட இறுதி செய்யப்பட்டுவிட்டது. எந்த நேரத்திலும் சௌந்தர்யா ரஜினிகாந்த் படத்தின் பங்குபெறும் கலைஞர்களின் இறுதிப் பட்டியலை அறிவிப்பார் என்று தெரிகிறது. இது தொடர்பாக பிரஸ் மீட் ஒன்று வைக்கும் திட்டமும் இருக்கிறது. இதுவரை அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக சரத்குமார், தீபிகா படுகோனே, ஷோபனா, ருக்மிணி விஜயகுமார், நாசர், ஜாக்கி ஷராப், ஆதி ஆகியோர் ஒப்பந்தம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
இதனிடையே இதுவரை வெளியிடப்பட்ட இரண்டு ஸ்டில்களும் ரசிகர்களின் எதிர்பார்ப்பை உச்சத்தில் ஏற்றி வைத்துள்ள சூழ்நிலையில், படத்தை எப்படியும் வெற்றிப்படமாக்கியே தீருவது என்கிற வெறியில் கடுமையாக உழைத்து வருகிறார் சௌந்தர்யா. அவ்வப்போது இயக்குனர் கே.எஸ்.ரவிக்குமாரிடமும் யோசனைகளை கேட்டு வருவதாக தெரிகிறது.
பாடல்களை பொறுத்தவரை ஏற்கனவே ‘சுல்தான்’ மற்றும் ‘ராணா’வுக்கு இசைப்புயல் இசையமைத்துக் கொடுத்த சில அருமையான பாடல்களை மிஸ் செய்ய சம்பந்தப்பட்ட எவருமே விரும்பவில்லை என்பதால், மேற்படி பாடல்களே (ட்யூன்கள்) கோச்சடையானுக்கும் பயன்படக்கூடும். வரிகள் மாற்றப்படலாம். தவிர கோச்சடையானுக்கு ஒரு சில பாடல்களை போட்டு தருவதாக இசைப்புயல் உறுதியளித்திருக்கிறாராம்.
படத்தில் ஒப்பந்தம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ள சரத்குமார் உள்ளிட்ட பிரதான நட்சத்திரங்களுக்கு ஒரு சில வாரங்கள் மட்டுமே வேலை. அதுவும் ஸ்டுடியோவுக்குள் நடித்து காட்டவேண்டியது தான். மற்றபடி அனைத்தும் MOTION CAPTURE முறையில் அனிமேஷன் ஸ்டூடியோவில் வடிவமைக்கப்படும் என்பதால், படத்திற்காக அணுகியபோது எவரும் தயங்கவில்லை. தவிர, சூப்பர் ஸ்டாரின் படமாச்சே. கரும்பு தின்ன கசக்குமா என்ன?
படத்தில் நாட்டியம் முக்கியமான அம்சம் என்பதால் ஷோபனா, ருக்மிணி விஜயகுமார் ஆகியோர் ஒப்பந்தம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
“யாருக்கு எது உரியதோ அதை எவராலும் தட்டி பறித்துவிட முடியாது” என்ற கூற்றுக்கேற்ப, யார் யாரோ படத்தில் சூப்பர் ஸ்டாரின் ஜோடியாக நடிக்க பேசப்பட, இறுதியில் தீபிகா படுகோனே இந்த பொன்னான வாய்ப்பை தட்டி சென்றுவிட்டார். பெரிதும் எதிர்பார்க்கப்பட்ட கத்ரீன கை ஃப் கால்ஷீட் சிக்கலால் இந்த வாய்ப்பை தவறவிட்டுவிட்டார். ‘ராணா’ எதிர்பாராதவிதமாக நிருத்திவைக்கப்பட்டதால் ஏமாற்றமடைந்திருந்த தீபிகாவுக்கு இது மிகப் பெரிய சந்தோஷத்தை அளித்திருக்கும் என்றால் மிகையாகாது. (அவற்றின் பரம ரசிகரான சென்னையை சேர்ந்த வாலிபர் ஒருவருக்கும் தான்!).

படத்தின் கதை என்ன?

நாம் விசாரித்த வரையில் ‘கோச்சடையான்’ படத்தின் அவுட்லைன் இது தான்.
மக்களுக்கு நல்லாட்சி வழங்கி வரும் ‘கோச்சடையான்’ என்னும் மன்னன், எதிர்பாராத விதமாக நண்பர்களின் சூழ்ச்சி காரணமாக நாட்டை பறி கொடுக்கவேண்டியதாகிவிடுகிறது. பட்டத்து ராணியை பிரிந்து நிராயுதபாணியாக விடப்படும் ‘கோச்சடையான்’, எதிர்பாராமல் கிடைக்கும் நண்பன் (சரத்) ஒருவனின் உதவியோடு, பகைவர்களின் சூழ்சிகளை திட்டமிட்டு வென்று மீண்டும் நாட்டை கைப்பற்றுவதே ‘கோச்சடையான்’ கதையின் கரு. படத்தில் வில்லனாக அசத்தப்போவது நாசர். தவிர ஜாக்கி ஷராப்புக்கும் ஒரு முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்த பாத்திரம் உண்டு. இந்த கருவிற்கு விறுவிறுப்பான திரைக்கதை அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. காட்சியமைப்புக்கள் படத்தை வித்தியாசப்புடித்தி காண்பிக்கும். படம் ஹிஸ்டாரிகல் சப்ஜெக்ட் என்றாலும், படத்தில் பாத்திரங்கள் அணியும் காஸ்ட்யூம்கள் முதல் பயன்படுத்தும் ஆயுதங்கள் வரை அனைத்தும் புதுமையாக இருக்கும். படத்தின் ஸ்டண்ட் காட்சிகளை மிகவும் வித்தியாசமாக அமைக்க பீட்டர் ஹெயின்ஸ் திட்டமிட்டு வருகிறார். சரித்திர கதைகளுக்கே உரித்தான பிரத்யேக சண்டைக்காட்சிகள் படத்தில் உண்டு.
படத்தில் சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ஒரு பரம சிவ பக்தராக வருகிறார். ருத்திராட்சமும், பாசிமனியும் படத்தில் இவரது அடையாளங்கள் என்பது இதுவரை வெளியிடப்பட்ட இரண்டு ஸ்டில்களை பார்த்தாலே புரிந்திருக்கும்.

Kochadaiyaan for Independence Day!

Rajnikanth’s most awaiting movie Kochadaiyaan release date confirmed. According to latest buzz Kochadaiyaan scheduled to be release for August this year.

Sources say that Soundarya Ashwin the director wanted to release the film earlier as possible so that the superstar may start to begin his work in Rana.

Kochadaiyaan will be taken using Motion Capture Technology so the film needs only more time for Post production works adds the team.

For the first time in Indian Cinema Motion Capture Technology is going to use for Kochadaiyaan. So Superstar’s Kochadaiyaan will hit the screens on August 15 marking the Independence Day of India.

Also it is heard that Kochadaiyaan may compete with Maniratnam's Kadal.

This new film has Scripting , Screenplay Writing, Dialogue by K.S Ravikumar, Directing by Soundarya Ashwin Rajinikanth, Producing by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment Limited.

Hollywood director James Cameron and Steven Spielberg have made the movie with this 3D Technology and this is first time in India doing with this advanced 3D technology.

Deepika Padukone Trouble

Kochadayan heroine Deepika Padukone is caught in trouble. The producer of Race 2 has lodged a complaint on her for not continuing in his movie.

Sarath on Rajini's story

Talking to the press recently, Sarathkumar reminisced how Kochadaiyan came into being a few years ago itself. “Rajinikanth told me a story  few years ago and I still remember it scene by scene. It was a wonderful story and I really wished to work with him and now I got the chance. I am proud to be associated with him,” he stated.
Answering questions on his daughter, Sarath said that he believed Varalakshmi will make it big as an actor. Sarath is now busy in Malayalam movies. His Achande Aan Makkal is due for release. So is the movie History. In Tamil, he has a period film directed by Selvaraj. In the pipeline is a project for Siva of Amma Creations.

Sneha's loss is Rukmini's gain

Sneha is no longer part of the Rajini film, Kochadaiyaan. Apparently there were some date issues that could not be resolved. Sneha and Soundarya Ashwin, the director parted ways amiably. Rukmini will be Sneha's replacement for the role of Rajini's sister. This actress was seen in films like Ananda Thandavam and Bommalatam.
In the meantime, Sneha is preparing for her marriage to actor Prasanna and will also be seen in a film called Haridas with Kishore to be directed by GNR Kumaravel. She will continue to act in films even after her marriage as Prasanna feels her talent should not be wasted.

Deepika Padukone walks out!

She might be on cloud 9 for bagging the opportunity to play the lead of superstar Rajinikanth for his upcoming film Kochadaiyan but Deepika seems to have miffed the producer of Race 2, Ramesh Taurani. Deepika abruptly quit Race 2 to join Kochadaiyan without any notice after shooting for about 10 days. Neither did she tender any apology towards her behavior, Ramesh was quoted as saying.

"The movie was supposed to go on floors last November but Deepika was busy for an Ayan Mukherjee film. I waited for her and when she was ready, she walked out of the movie without even bothering to inform me," Ramesh said. Apparently Deepika gave the producer cold-shoulder when he went to meet her to talk about this. Now, will superstar Rajinikanth intervene in this?

Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan: First look

Superstar Rajinikanth finally reveals the first look of Kochadaiyaan. The superlative actor sports eight-pack abs in the poster making him look younger than expected

Kochadaiyaan, Soundarya Rajinikanth’s mega budget film has been the talk of the town since its initiation. Beginning with the long line of prominent actors in its cast followed by the rift between the two sisters Soundarya and Aishwarya over release dates, Rajinikanth’s health and finally now the poster.The poster shows Rajinikanth portraying one of Lord Shiva’s poses. He sports long hair and a beard along with accessories on his hair, neck and leg. While the physique looks like the work of a ‘mouse’ we are sure Rajini’s fans will be over-thrilled to see the actor in the new avatar.

In the film however, Rajini plays an eighth century Pandya king who is known for his legendary valour. Soundarya released the first look of the film on Twitter. The music of the film is created by AR Rahman while KS Ravikumar will handle the microphone. Besides Rajinikanth the other stars in the movie include Katrina Kaif, Shobhana, Jackie Shroff, Prithviraj, Sarathkumar and more. Superstar Rajinikanth’s much awaited ‘Kochadaiyaan’s’ First Look will be revealed tomorrow.

Soundarya Rajinikanth the director of Kochadaiyaan has announced this officially with the media. Rajini fans who waited long time are thrilled to catch the look of their thalaivar in papers.
On Jan 28th the Photoshoot with Rajinikanth in his Kochadaiyaan avatar took place at AVM Studio as said earlier, later the designing sections went on for a week says sources and now the First look Still is finally ready.
Tomorrow will be a delightful day for Superstar fans.

Superstar Rajinikanth has taken a liking to attend public events these days as he was seen at the event organized by Uyirmai Publications to honour writer S Ramakrishnan for winning the Iyal Virudhu, Lifetime Literary Achievement Award from Tamil Literary garden of Toronto.
Rajinikanth attended the function as a mark of respect to S Ramakrishnan who was not only the script writer for his film Baba but also has penned the biography of the superstar that is due to be released later this year.
Speaking at the event, Rajini revealed that he does not know to write in Tamil though he has learnt to speak in many languages. The actor also said that he is scared to address a gathering of Tamil scholars as he is not well versed in the language and may use the wrong words.

Kochadaiyaan gets a new star

Reports from Kollywood say that Bollywood star Jackie Shroff will play a crucial role in Kochadaiyaan. The film’s director Soundarya is still locking her star cast for this film and the latest addition is said to be Jackie Shroff.
There are also reports that the shooting will begin in London next month, though no date has been given yet for this. Kochadaiyaan will be Rajini’s first film after his hospitalization and fans are waiting eagerly to see him back on the silver screens.
AR Rahman is scoring the music for this film. KS Ravi Kumar is taking care of the story, screenplay and dialogues for Kochadaiyaan.
