Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan is making brisk progress. After a 10
day first schedule at Pinewood Studios in London, the second schedule
is happening in Chitranjali studio in Thiruvananthapuram.
Chitranjali Studio Complex, located atop a beautiful hillock at Thiruvallam on the Thiruvananthapuram- Kovalam road, is a state of the art modern studio run by Kerala State Film Development Corporation (KSFDC).
Director Soundarya Rajinikanth is shooting the film in motion capture in 3D, and the facilities and privacy that Chitranjali offers is what made her shoot there.
Chitranjali recording theatre staff has won many national and state awards including this year’s state award for audiography to Harikumar. Some of the biggest names in world cinema like Adoor Gopalakrishnan , Shaji N Karun have made and processed their film at Chitranjali.
The state minister and actor KB Ganesh Kumar, a big fan of Rajinikanth has made all arrangements for the Kochadaiyaan shoot. No media is being allowed inside and high level security has been provided to Rajinikanth and his entourage who are staying at Taj Vivanta in Thiruvananthapuram.
