Clarifying this, Dhanush said that he was shocked that his statement had been twisted by the media. He said that the decision rests with Rajini but Rana is certainly going to happen. This is an indication that Rana has not been dropped. Rana is considered to be Rajini’s brainchild as he was very actively involved in its groundwork.

The national award winner has said that the Superstar is responding to treatment and is getting better day by day. He said that Rajini needs complete rest and at the moment his health is very important. Dhanush also said that Rajini will be back in India very soon, probably in a week or so.

Arya, Karthi, Suriya, STR, Rajinikanth and Vikram will vie for the best award while for the best actress it would be Trisha, Nayantara, Anjali, Amala Paul, Reema Sen and Tamannah. Apart from Tamil film, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films, stars and technicians have also been nominated.

Rajinikanth can now walk

Rajinikanth is absolutely fine, say sources close to him. The Superstar was having trouble walking when he was undergoing treatment in Chennai but now he is able to walk short distances without anyone’s help, we are told.

This is great news for all his fans who are fervently praying for his good health. The Superstar is said to be spending time with his family and watching television mainly with his grandchildren around.

Rajini was flown down to Singapore last Friday were he is undergoing advanced treatment for kidney related problems.

Rajinikanth Fan arrempts Suicide to Donate Kindey

A Rajinikanth fan in Coimbatore has attempted suicide in a bid to donate his kidney to the matinee idol who is undergoing dialysis in a Singapore hospital. Rajniraja Arockiasamy (40) of Sundarapuram in Kurichi has been admitted to hospital after he reportedly consumed an overdose of sleeping pills. After recovery Rajniraja, told doctors that he wanted to end his life and donate the kidney to the actor.

Rajnikanth to be discharged in 10 days

Actor Rajinikanth will return home in another 10 days, says his son in law Actor Danush. He said that, Rajinikanth is improving fast.He is eating well, talking to the family members. He does not need any kidney transplatntation as reported by some press, he added.
