The Vinayaka temple in Nadigar Thilakam’s house has been renovated and its kumbabishekam took place. Actors Rajinikanth and Ajith participated in the function.
The Varasidhi Vinayakar temple is located opposite Sivaji Ganesan’s house. This was built by Sivaji and his siblings 50 years ago. All the people in the locality, irrespective of caste or creed, have been visiting the temple.
The devotees wanted to have the kumbabhishekam since the temple is already 50 years old. So, Prabhu and his family got the temple renovated. He has also allocated space in his front lawn, for devotees to circumambulate the temple. A gopuram has also been built.
The kumbabhishekam took place yesterday with holy water being sprinkled on the gopuram by the priests. Parbhu, Ram Kumar and their families were joined by the general public in the function.
