The recent floods in Andhra Pradesh have left the state devastated with a huge loss of life and property. The government’s allocation of Rs. 1000 crores as relief fund is still insufficient to meet the expenses, considering the heavy losses. The film fraternity is now gearing up to help the state recover from the devastation by conducting a star night show to collect funds and help the victims through it.It has been confirmed that Tamil film stars including Rajinikanth, Vijaykanth, and Sarath Kumar will participate in the event. Bollywood stars Jitendra and Rajesh Khanna will also grace the occasion. Further, there are expectations that Malayalam superstars Mammootty and Mohanlal could also grace the occasion. The Tamil Film Producers’ Council has donated Rs. 10 lakhs for the victims.
