Rajinikanth returns to Channai

Superstar Rajnikanth returned tonight to Chennai after over six weeks of treatment for kidney-related ailments in Singapore. Rajnikanth, 61, arrived late Wednesday evening amidst expected euphoria among his fans who have been praying for the good health of the actor. After suffering from exhaustion on April 29, the first day of the shoot of his period flick Rana, the actor was hospitalised twice. He was flown to Singapore in the last week of May for treatment of reported kidney ailment.

    Puri to Remake Bbuddah in Tamil with Rajinikanth?

    Director Puri Jagannath made a grand entry into Bollywood with the mega flick ‘Bbuddah…. Hoga Tera Baap’. The film starring Big B Amitabh Bachchan emerged as a big hit, and this has brought Puri into limelight. He is now engaged in rigourous works to make more potent films in Hindi. As part of this, he signed Abhishek Bachchan for his next film- ‘The Businessman’. It will be going on to sets soon.

    Now, the buzz is that Puri Jagannath is planning to remake ‘Bbuddah…. Hoga Tera Baap’ in Tamil with South Indian Super Star Rajinikanth. Sources say that the director will be soon meeting with Rajinikanth and talk about the project. If things go as planned, Puri-Rajini film may go onto sets along with Rajinikanth’s Rana or the after the completion of the film.

    On the other hand, Puri is equally busy in Telugu. He had already announced a couple of projects – one with Prince Mahesh (The Businessman) and the other with Ravi Teja (Idiot 2).
