This never happened before as Rajnikanth avoids attending the promotional phases. Ennobling with his words that ‘Enthiran’ has been the best ever project in his career, the actor has marked the film would be best and grander as Amitabh Bachchan-Dharmendra starrer ‘Sholay’.
Says Rajnikanth: ‘Producing a film out on a big budget of Rs. 150Crores isn’t a big deal. But it is useless if that particular film doesn’t carry a good story, powerful characterization and a nitty-gritty narration. Sholay was one such big movie that had all such elements. Now I am sure ‘Enthiran’ will be best as ‘Sholay’ as it boasts of such intriguing factors. As an audience, I felt that the film is perfect.’
‘Enthiran’ has postponed the releases in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada for the next couple of weeks while the ‘Ayodhya judgment’ issue postponing the release of Hindi films ‘Anjana Anjaani’ and ‘Akrosh’ has paved some better way for Hindi version ‘Robot’ as well.
