The latest buzz about the Rajnikanth-starrer Enthiran-the Robot, directed by Shankar, is that Danny Denzongpa, the veteran of many Bollywood movies, will be part of the cast. Reports coming in say that Danny will be playing the villain in this film.
Danny, who’s playing Chengiz Khan in the Mark Roemmich-directed The Lost Gold of Khan, has always been liked by South Indians in all kinds of roles. It’s heard that Shankar has made the final choice after considering names like Suman Chakravarthy (of Satya fame) etc. Let’s hope Danny Denzongpa really gets to play villain opposite the ‘Style Mannan’.

Aishwarya Rai is the heroine in the film, which will be Shankar’s second venture with Rajnikanth in the lead, after Sivaji-the Boss. AR Rahman scores the music.
