It would be a dream come true for any filmmaker or actor to have his movie remade with the screen God in the lead… Literally, we say… Screen God here is of course Rajnikanth….
News is abuzz that Rajnikanth might soon be in the Tamil remake of Akshay Kumar‘s ‘OMG! Oh My God‘. The soon-to-be-releasing film stars Paresh Rawal in lead besides Akki and is co-produced by Ashwini Yardi and Akshay Kumar‘s banner Grazing Goat.
Talks are that south filmmaker Krishna Prasad has showed his interest for the film’s remake in Tamil. Incidentally he is going to work with Dhanush, Rajnikanth‘s son-in-law and thus, hopeful of making a deal with the superstar himself through contacts.
So if all goes well, Rajnikanth will be in the Tamil version of ‘OMG! Oh My God‘, while Akshay Kumar and Yardi will be on the producers’ board along with Prasad.
‘OMG! Oh My God‘ revolves around an atheist (Paresh Rawal) and how he drags Lord Krishna (Akshay Kumar) to court on a legal case.
