Superstar Rajinikanth seems to be particular in one thing - that to meet his fans and the media before resuming the shoot of his forthcoming film 'Rana'. "His assistants are busy chalking out plans for the meetings", say sources.
"So moved by the affection of fans who hardly left any place of worship, when the Superstar was getting treatment in different hospitals, Rajini made a decision to meet them immediately after coming back from Singapore", they say.
"In fact, he had a plan to meet the media at the airport itself and speak to the fans through them", sources say, adding: "But the Mumbai serial blasts that took place on that day forced him put off his decision".
Now that he is fine and is gearing up for the shoot of 'Rana', (which is expected to start in the first week of October), Rajini will hold a press meet and fans meet soon. Sri Raghavendra Mandapam may be the venue for both the events, it is said.
