Guess what is common in the next line? Rana, Rajinikanth, Ravi Kumar, Rahman and Rathnavelu. Yes! It is the letter R which is common in the team of Rana. All the technicians including Rajini’s name and title of the film too starts with R. The film has to take off with the shoot yesterday on April 20th but as the erection of sets got delayed the team has postponed the shoot.
Rana is set in two different periods of 17th century and the current epoch. Rajini will sport three different looks and for getting the looks perfect he is soon going to fly to UK along with director K.S Ravi Kumar. The latest rumor in the tinsel town is that Rajini is not satisfied with the look of Deepika Padukone who is playing his love interest in the film. He asked his technicians to change her look and also suggest them to make the look of Deepika in a traditional way as it suits her role in the film.
A.R. Rahman will compose music for this magnum opus and he already finished composing two songs for Rana. Rathnavelu is handling the camera while Editing is by Anthony. The film is jointly produced by Eros International and Ocher Picture Productions.
Rana will be made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
