It’s official now. Sandalwood director Prem has confirmed that Superstar Rajinikanth will play a ‘powerful role’ in ‘Jogayya’, which happens to be the 100th film of Sivarajkumar.
“We are blessed to have Rajini sir in our team. His role in the movie will be so powerful. Everyone will get stunned once the film gets released,” says the director, who earlier won accolades from Rajini for his ‘Jogi’.
The top actor, after watching ‘Jogi’, had promised Prem that he would be happy to work with him in future. He had kept his word with ‘Jogayya’, which stars his mentor and good friend Rajkumar’s son Sivarajkumar.
“The reason behind Rajini accepting the offer is not just me. But also his respect and affection on the family members of Rajkumar ji. The film is shaping up well,” concludes Prem, who is the husband of actress Rakshitha of ‘Dhum’ and ‘Madurey’ fame.
