Fans of Kollywood stars are devoted people. Not only are they devoted as fans to the actors/actress they also are very devoted in praying for the prosperity and long life of their star. Be it Kushboo or Namitha, the fans have built temples for them.
Now Rajinikanth’s fans have gone and done the same…No no, not built a temple for him, but ask for devine blessing and prosperity for our super star. The fans have installed a Sahasra Lingam at Koti Lingeshwar Temple, a well known Shiva Temple in Kolar District, Karnataka.
KotiLingeshwara temple as the name suggests has more than one crore Lingams. Families can get a Linga in their family name for a price. The Lingam installed for our Super Star has a thousand lingams engraved on it.
The effort to install the Lingam was done by Karnataka State Rajinikanth Fans’ Association president S Simon Raj and secretary Manivannan.
