Resolved Question: Telugu is the oldest language on the earth -- An unquestionable evidence..?

Sanskrit is the oldest language next comes Telugu.Because Sanskrit is not in use I am not considering Sanskrit. Or You can take Telugu is second oldest.

READ YHE PROOFS

1. Aitereya brahmanyam which is a part of Rigveda ( 7000 years back ) written thousands years B.C has mentioned about Telugu language.

2.Then (ten or dhen ) means South . The southern part of India is called Telugu(Tenugu). All south Indian languages came from Telugu including Tamil.

3.Sanskrit is the oldest language next comes Telugu. The logical proof is.. the linguistic prakriya (Game) of Sanskrit Avadhana is existing only Telugu . From this we can say immediate next language of Sanskrit is Telugu. In other languages Avadhana disappeared because of passage of time and their birth is after telugu . Obviusly son possesses more features of father than grand son , because son is more immediate.

3. Bilhana Kavi in his book Rajatarangini mentioned about Telugu.
4.One of the sons name of Bali Chakravarthy ( the one who was sent to Pataala by Mahavishnu i.e. by Vamana) is Andhra or Andhrudu. Telugu area i.e. Andhra Pradesh was ruled by him . So the place became Andhra. See ,, this Bali Chakravarthy was long before Ramayana and Mahabharata. Mahabharata was 3000 years B.C. { Dr, Vedavyasa got Ph.D . on time determination of Mahabharata AND rAMAYANA . I took Ramayana and Bharatha timings from his Research topic}.

From this we can say Telugu was existing more than 7000 years from now.Because Bali Chakravarthy was several thousands of years before Mahabharata and Ramayana.Telugu is the language from him.

Some people may say Andhrudu’s death time is Telugu’s birth time . Then also , Telugu is the oldest. At the time of Mahabharata Andhra was not the ruler . He died long before Bharata and Ramayana.

*
5. Tamil is not older than Telugu... One fact is , with the passage of time, activities , languages etc become more and more simple. People gradually adopt simple pronunciations. Tamil has simple pronunciations than Telugu. Some typical sounds of Telugu are not in Tamil.

This part of the explaination is to prove Telugu is the oldest. There are several other proofs which are easly available on net.

*
SEE THE CIVILISATION IN OTHER COUNTRIES STARTED AFTER DEVELOPMENT OF LANGUAGES IN INDIA. SO OTHER NON-INDIAN LANGUAGES CAN NOT BE OLDERTHAN INDIAN OLD LANGUAGES.ANYBODY WITH SMALL IDEA ON HISTORY CAN UNDERSTAND THIS.

IN 90'S THERE WAS WORLD HISTORIANS MEET AT MASCO , I WAS CLOSLY ASSOSIATED WITH THAT . THERE THEY HAVE DECIDED MOST OF THE WORLD LANGUAGES CAME FROM SANSKRIT. UNONIMOSLY THEY DECIDED ARYANS ARE BASICALLY INDIANS AND THEY ARE NOT MUGRANTS TO INDIA.

Resolved Question: Sweetest and Powerful Language or Classical language?

Hi,
I am Russian studing in Insead (Business school in France)
As a part of our programme,we need to learn 3 languages before we actually finish the course.
Already we know ENGLISH and RUSSIAN.
We are group of 4 people planning to learn some Indian language. We are interested in learning any one from Telugu or Tamil. As per our knowledge Tamil is one of the classical language in india. And Telugu is one of the Golden languages in India. There are already so many international students who learned Telugu as (exit language) one of the language.Students here feel Telugu is the sweetest language in the world ?
I don't know how these people come to conclusions. They also feel it is very powerful. But Tamil is also having a very rich literature being a classical language.
There are few Telugu & Tamil students who are biased towards their own language. Please help us choosing one of the language. We also have a choice of learning Gujarati here.Any Suggestions.

Resolved Question: Do you agree..?

English is messed up even without slang and or jargon being thrown into the mix. Take for example the word cleave it can mean both: to adhere closely; stick; cling (usually fol. by to). or to cut off; sever: could these two definitions be more opposite? No wonder it is such a hard languange to learn.
lot of the spelling rules are also not consistent like with the word "pretty" for example . Phonics rules are that the "e" in this word should be a short sound. This is not true for the letter "e" at all. IN this word, the letter "e" has the sound of the short "i". Why not spell this word "pritty" as it is pronounced? This is just one such example and then you have all of the silent sounds. What's the real deal with all of that ?

Resolved Question: Where are you right now? What country, and ...?

Do you agree...
Spellings in english is hard...because so many words have extra letters that you don't need...like through...psycology.The fact that the spelling is far from phonetic - the same combinations of letters can stand for totally different words, like the "ough" in "tough", "though", "drought", etc.

Its pronunciation, and all the words that sound the same but arent, like see and sea, wander and wonder. it makes it hard to follow ppl sometimes, especially when accents are involved.
In most words that end in "e", the vowel is
long (says it's name) bake, take, fate, smite, home, phone.
The idioms are insanely difficult for others to understand. ("Rains cats and dogs ," " A penny for your thoughts "
etc.)

Resolved Question: Follow up to my yesterdays question -- Topics for talking with my fiancee as my fiancee feels I am talking les

Yes its an arranged marriage. Even before engagement I didnt talk much. But dont think I didnt talk at all. Yes I am introvert.
The bride and brother(who is the main co-ordinator from girl's side) wants some sort of friendship to be developed before marriage. But I cant really understand what they want. Her brother complained to my sister saying that bride was really upset with me not talking much and cried it seems. She felt if the boy really liked me... And so yesterday I talked to her saying that I fully liked you and with my approval only engagement happened. Once she asked me in local language - "whats your opinion?" And since there was a slight language barrier I fully didnt understand her question and asked her back the same. She found fault in this too yesterday and I clearly said to her that I didnt understood what she asked and mis-understanding took place. I told her that she talks in pure Telugu and my talking is little different with tamil mixed and hence the problem..
Yesterday's Question --

My engagement got over a couple of days back. The girl feels I am not talking much to her. I mean before engagement and on the day of engagement I wasnt able to talk jovially. I dont seem to get many topics to talk to her. Atleast hereafter I have to find some good topics, else our proceedings seems to be in dilemma. So she seems upset with this and so do we :(

She seem to talk much better than me but I feel I am not able to entertain her verbally... She expects me to talk more I guess... And ofcourse by nature I am little reserved and wont talk much. But I am willing to talk but the problem is in finding some nice dialogues/topics.
Please help me on this.
Thanks,
Gopi

Resolved Question: is telugu the sweetest of all languages?

Hi I am Raghavendran,

Already declared by great pundits of Carnatic music.
And for god sake do not compare it with any other language.
I fall in love with Telugu Language. It is very poetic when listening or speaking.

(Our Subramanya Barathiyar had written in tamil song "Sundara Telunginil Pattu Isaippom")
He has no compositions intelugu but all are in tamil.
he loves tamil so much.but accepted telugu as sweetest language. He is also a pundit in french, bengali and sanskrit but he never praised any other language other than telugu.

Another Maha kavi has said

kavignar Kanadhasan said it in a Tamil song

'Sinthu nathiyin........Sundara telunginil patisaithu'
It is always believed that Telugu is a musical language.

The great poets did not praise telugu on occasions but they praised telugu in their writings & musicalcompositions being non-telugites.

We cannot judge the greatness of any language because we lack knowledge over them.

Resolved Question: When exactly the south indian dravidian languages originated from Tamil?

I read through history that Tamil is the oldest language in indian as well as the world history. The indus and harappa valley civilizations scripts and lithographic inscriptions are similar to the sangam old tamil scripts.Undoubtedly its the oldest language henceforth it was made as the first classical language in india. While going through it , it was unclear when the other dravidian languages like malyalam,Telugu and kannada originated from Tamil.

Resolved Question: which language is known as the origin of TELUGU language?

No irregularities in land purchased by actor Rajnikanth

The Tamil Nadu Government today denied any irregularities in the purchase of land by Tamil superstar Rajnikanth.

Tamil Nadu Tourism and Registration Minister N Suresh Rajan in a statement here denied reports in a section of the press in this regard and said there was no revenue loss to the government.

He said Rajnikanth had purchased the land at Kannikaiper in Tiruvallur district and had registered it on January four last year along with the seller by personally visiting the Registrar’s office.

The guideline value of the property purchased by the actor on that day was Rs 2,003,963.50. But Mr Rajnikanth had registered it for Rs 21 lakh, by paying Rs 96,036.50 more than the guideline value.

He had also paid the Stamp paper charges to the tune of Rs 1,68,000 and also the registration fees of Rs 21,000.

“So there is no loss of any revenue to the government by way of this land transaction” the Minister said and denied any irregularities in the deal. Source: UNI

The other one gets married, has three children and is leading a hand-to-mouth existence.
